1. Liverpool FC: Its our time! After 19 long years, Liverpool will be champions this year. I'm convinced.Keane is 7, Gerrard is 8, Torres is 9, its a perfect match! Its going to be one hell of a year. Rafa's got the talent, now its up to him to do the job. And dont forget, Gareth Barry is still an option. I might be making my first trip to Anfield after years of loving this team, and I think its the best time to do it. We have a championship team. I think this is honestly the best all around Liverpool team since the end of the 80's. Even better than the (technical) Treble team in '01, and the Euro team of '05. Look for Liverpool not only to win the league but to win Europe as well.

2. Manchester United: Manchester United is interesting. They have the good mix of youth (Rooney, Ronaldo, Nani, Anderson, etc.) and Veteran presence (Neville, Rio, Giggsy) but I think even they're sick of themselves. Every year they win something, give someone else a freakin' chance Man U. When was the last time you saw a team like Spurs, or Everton, or even LIVERPOOL (my Reds), win the league?? Its because United owns the world. Its Liverpool's time.

I've never mentioned it here but for the last 4 years my Dad and I have been touring the ballparks of America and North America and we are down to the Final 3 (5 if you include the new Busch Stadium and Nationals Park, 7 if you include the new Yankee Stadium and Citi Field in our hometown of New York). I'm going to tell you what we think of every park:

1. Yankee Stadium: We're Yankees fans so were biased and we go here 10-15 times a year but this is the classic ballpark. So much history. So many great moments. The best fans in baseball in the best city in the world. So much history has happened here. However, its a little outdated so its good to know were getting a new stadium next year. But you think of the legends who have played here, from Ruth and Gehrig to Bernie and Jeter. This is the hallowed grounds of baseball.

Playoffs?? PLAYOFFS?! Dont talk about...PLAYOFFS?!!

Anyway, Richie Sexson sucks...he's become our second guaranteed out after Jose Molina from now on! Maybe third after Brett Gardner, or fourth after Melky Cabrera...

I got a feeling that Tampa's gonna come back down to earth a little bit but still keep enough pace with the Red Sox and Yankees to keep things interesting. The good news is this opens a door for the Yankees! If we get a solid pitcher (all the superstars like Harden and Sabathia are gone) like a Randy Wolf maybe or even Erik Berdard I hear is available, we have a solid staff once again. If Wang comes back healthy, we have a great staff. If Carl Pavano comes back healthy...hahahahahahahahahaha, rofl, like thats gonna happen!

YOU SUCK!"

BUT...there is some good news for those of you who "ride your tractors to the game" (Good ol' Schmoozer)...you suck and you have Kyle Okposo and Josh Bailey. Two young players, two very good young players and if you do as you are supposed to and have the worst record in the NHL (like I and most other analysts think you will) John Tavares is all yours! Dont forget you have DP, who is world class and BETTER GET THE US THE GOLD IN 2010...so there you have it. Maybe you do have a future...all you gotta do is suck. this year.

Wooo! 4 games out of a 16 game season! Yeah NEW YORK JETS! WOOO!! Move over Namath, Kellen Clemens is here! To quote the biggest Jets fan I know, Joe Beningo of WFAN..."OH THE PAIN!"

Ok, I will break down every game the Jets will be playing in this EAGERLY anticipated season for the Green and White...

Week one against the Dolphins in Miami: If theres one NFL team that is worse than the Jets its the Miami Dolphins. "'cause when you say Miami, you're saying Super Bowl!" God, when did they write that song? 1972?! I mean seriously. The Dolphins are now the laughingstocks of the league! Even the Jets laugh at the Dolphins! I cant wait to see Vernon Ghoulston tear through Jake Long and sack John Beck on opening day...Jets 28- Dolphins 7...

I like the Green Bay Packers. I like the team overall with Atari Bigby, Ryan Grant, Donald Driver, Donald Lee and AJ Hawk and I freakin' love Brett Favre...but the dude is an absolute buffon to come back and play for another team. He's abandoning the town that brought him in and made him one of their own by leaving and playing for a team like the Vikings, or the Bears, or the Jets (but that would be pretty damn cool). Brett Favre is like God in Wisconsin. I know, I've been there. They're pretty damn crazy for the Pack and Favre especially. His jersey probably makes more money in that state than cheese or any other dairy product. He's a fool to leave. To a lesser extent he's pulling a Roger Clemens AND EVEN I FUCKING HATE ROGER CLEMENS! BRETT FAVRE IS ALL CLASS! HE CANNOT BECOME ROGER CLEMENS!

At the begining of the year the New York Giants shocked the world and STOMPED OUT the New England Patriots to win Super Bowl 42...two days later the Mets traded for Johan Santana and appeared to be heading for the World Series...however it hasnt worked out that way so far this year. With the state of the other New York teams in question its looking like it will be a long time before another New York team takes the title...lets break it down, shall we, sport by sport, starting with the NHL:

New York Rangers: As a diehard, lifelong Rangers fan I'm proud to say we've made the playoffs 3 straight years after a 7 year drought...however two of the keys from those teams have left during free agency this year (Jagr and Avery)...luckily the Penguins, our top competition I feel for the Atlantic lost a lot this offseason too and didnt add much. However, we added Redden, despite overpaying, Nasland was a nice signing...sometimes players get better in a bigger spotlight like New York. Which leads me to Zhredev, who we got for Tutyin and Backman. What a steal this guy was. Woo! He was in Rick Nash's shadow all his career and now he's getting a chance to sign. Thats why I say, with all the pieces in place the Rangers could be the next team from NY to win a championship...yeah...RANGERS BABY RANGERS!

Get ready to get pissed city of Boston because here I come...

I will be attending camp in Boston the week from July 20th to the 25th and to show how awesome New York is and how great fans we are (ok, and probably how obnoxious we are too!) I will be wearing a Jeremy Shockey Giants jersey and a Yankees hat one of the days I am in the so called Hub.

Now, I am not mentally retarded. I am fully aware of how much people from Boston hate New York sports teams and fans but it will be totally worth it to see me walking around Copley Square and downtown Boston wearing a Giants jersey and a Yankees hat...it might be worth videotaping and putting on youtube, I dont know. But I dont know if they'll go easy on me because I'm 16 or if they'll treat me like any other fan, I'll be excited to see. I get it pretty bad every time I'm there and I wear my Mariano shirt or my Bernie shirt, but this is probably a little over the top , wouldnt you say?

Not to me!

I am going to the game today but to me its just another game. Its not crosstown bragging rights or anything like that, its just Yankees/Mets. Its apparently vital to a lot of fans but not to me. It doesnt mean jack shit to me as long as I go to the Stadium, eat a hot dog , drink some lemonade, and watch the Yankees win!

Plus we officially ended any debate in who wins in the rivalry in 2000 when we beat them in 5 to win our 3rd straight title, 4th in 5 years, and continued the dynasty.

That pretty much ended any debate. The Yankees are better than the Mets and will be until they beat US in the World Series...its just another game to me.
